During a business trip to Kyoto city, Hakozaki and his boss found a cherry-tree-lined old path. Enjoying the evanescent beauty of cherry blossoms, they just realized we all are living ephemeral life, too. Love beyond the limited life time, looking into each other's eyes, they both wished the same.

Kajihara dropped by Ikushima's house before going on a cherry-blossoms-viewing picnic. Looking at the memorial tablet of Ikushima's passed-away loved wife, Kajihara couldn't help but thinking the reason why he once left Ikushima when they were young. "In those days, there was no place where our love was accepted". Time past away. Things have changed. As a person of ripe years, Kajihara swore to himself never to leave Ikushima again.
